Some of the best lessons I’ve learned about music didn’t come from the stage or the studio. They came from watching my kids sing without worrying about pitch, ask for the same song fifteen times, and hear the harmonies I almost missed. Turns out they’ve been teaching me right back all along.
My kids have taught me some of life’s best lessons without even trying. Their curiosity, honesty, forgiveness, playfulness, and ability to live in the moment constantly remind me to slow down, stay open, and appreciate what matters most. As technology continues to reshape the world around us, I believe creativity remains one of the most important skills we can encourage in our children, both now and in the future.
